Storyboards

Students take images of the background they intend to use then draw on the objects and people in Photoshop. This will allow each frame to be duplicated and the series of jpegs could be put into iMovie to see how it would work in principle. This would then be a good practice with all the principles involved before doing the final version. For this the students could draw simple overlayed shapes to represent objects and people and how they might move within the composition.

Each layer in photoshop could be moved easily without the need for redraw, then screen grabs could be made to speed up the process of making these simple test storyboards. The drawings themselves can be very basic and simple, but they have to be accurate as regards SCALE, PERSPECTIVE, POSITION ,and COMPOSITION as this is very important to the overall success of the movie.

In this way it also makes it much easier than using paper and these test visuals can then be loaded straight into the blogger website with the minimum of fuss. Please make sure that all of your images are in jpeg format and 'not' large multi layered photoshop PSD documents which will be too big to load up onto your website.

If you want you can choose to draw simple stick drawings and shapes to represent your theme thats okay but can these please be scanned into computer and uploaded onto your blogs please.
